Security Jobs in Los Angeles Summary:
The primary function of a Security Agent is customer service, prevention of crime and creating a visible deterrence. Security Agents assist with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures for clients and the general public and protect property from theft or damage. Other duties may include access control, list management, crowd control, emergency response, searching, law, policy, and regulation enforcement. May stand post or be a rover as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
-Have at least one year experience in high end security (military and/or law enforcement, red carpet special events, corporate security, hotel security, boutique loss prevention, high end nightclubs etc)
-Valid government issued driver’s license
-Social Security Card
-A GED or High School Diploma / Transcript
-Associates Degree or some verifiable college (preferred)
-Valid California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Guard Card
– 40 Hour Training Certificate prior to being posted
-Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements and authorized to work in the United States
-Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
-Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
-Be height / weight proportional and have a neat professional appearance
-Have access to reliable transportation, a cell phone that receives text messages and has access to the internet as well as an email address
-Own a black business suit, black, white, or gray button down dress shirt, black tie, belt, socks, and dress shoes or shined boots, and a small flashlight

Pay Rate:
