Some go so far as to refuse opiate pain killers after major surgery. Some members of 12 Step programs even advise others to forgo medication that their doctors have recommended.

Thymosin-Alpha-1 (brand name Zadaxin) has been approved in Mexico as a flu vaccine booster. Hopefully, Mexican approval for the treatment of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C will follow shortly. Thymosin is an injectable synthetic version of a naturally occurring hormone that circulates in the body.
