Each unit consists of several chapters covering specific aspects of that unit. Extensive references are included. At the end of each Unit are "Frequently Asked Questions" with general answers. Tucked away in the center of the book is a list of HIV/AIDS medications, which gives a picture of the medication, brand and generic names, usual regimen, common side effects, and important nursing considerations. The individual chapter discussions are excellent and comprehensive, providing a wealth of information for the nurse and easily located through the detailed table of contents or the index. This is a highly recommended book for all health science libraries and should be a personal "Bible" for those in the nursing profession serving HIV/AIDS individuals.
