Since 1991 this book has been an excellent guide for those who are HIV positive. It has been given excellent reviews in earlier issues of the AIDS Book Review Journal and this edition continues to carry on as a highly recommended book for all libraries including the individual libraries of HIV positive individuals. It covers everything from understanding and communicating about HIV, prevention, treatment, emotional aspects, complications and dementia to medical options, alternative medicine, legal aspects, preparing for death, tactics for preserving mental health, and what is ahead.
