* Living with HIV & AIDS
Living with HIV & AIDS is a new book produced in memory of Dr Simon Mansfield.
The book combines personal perspectives of people living with HIV or AIDS with practical advice on coping with a diagnosis and living with the infection. It has been written with the concerns of the people recently diagnosed in mind, but it is likely to be valuable to anyone directly affected by HIV.
The content of the book includes advice on who to tell about a diagnosis; obtaining quality services; treatment and the health service; nutrition and weight loss; keeping healthy and avoiding infections; coping with illness and disability; planning for the future; and relationships, sex and parenting.
The book is free to individuals living with or directly affected by HIV or AIDS; £9.95 to others. It is available directly from NAM
