The Fifth Symposium of the Society for Acupuncture Research will take place September 26-27 at the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. Registration is $120 but discounts are offered to members of the Society for Acupuncture Research and students. Sessions in the preliminary program include clinical research reports, incorporating clinical practice designs into research, physiological studies in acupuncture, herbal safety, and reports from four research centers funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health Office of Alternative Medicine.
