New Network Internet Address: www.atdn.org

Information Bulletin #16 - August 2002

The AIDS Treatment Data Network (The Network) has a new Internet address. It's http://www.atdn.org. Although we are in the middle of adding and redesigning materials, we are continually adding new materials. The entire databases for The Access Project are available at the site, as well as news about HIV and Hepatitis, and all the Information Bulletins and Treatment Reviews you may not have read. In addition, there are several new Simple Facts sheets, and older ones are being updated. We'd like to thank The Kaiser Family Foundation for allowing us to host their daily XIV International AIDS Conference coverage, and provide links to all the audio and video resources from the conference. Our goal is to have our new design and restructuring done by September, but there always seems to be yet another battle to wage on behalf of people with AIDS and HIV. We've spent much time in the last few months trying to ensure that ADAP programs throughout the country had enough money to treat those desperately in need of assistance. We'll be covering the upcoming struggle to secure coverage of new therapies for HIV and related conditions. And much more.
