Anton Jamal Josey, 34, of Pompano Beach was arrested late Wednesday after police in Fort Lauderdale pulled him over for speeding, The Miami Herald reported. Police said Dominique Duval emerged from the black Mercedes bleeding from the neck.
Duval, 23, of Lauderhill died on the way to the hospital.
Josey, armed with a handgun, allegedly grabbed Duval as she left her job at Blue Whale Productions in Fort Lauderdale at 11 p.m. and forced her into his car, police said. He has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and traffic violations.
The officers who pulled Josey over asked him what was wrong with Duval, WTVJ-TV, Miami, reported.
"I shot the (expletive) because she gave me HIV," he allegedly replied.
Investigators said they do not know if Josey or Duval were had human immunodeficiency virus, which causes AIDS.
