Dr. Ronald Harris, 58, had pleaded guilty in August to several counts of conspiracy and submitting false claims to the Medicare program as medical director for two Miami-area HIV clinics.
Meanwhile, another judge sentenced medical clinic administrator Mariela Rodriguez, 40, to 70 months in prison for her role in a fraudulent HIV treatment reimbursement scheme. Rodriguez, who ran another HIV Miami-area clinic, also had pleaded guilty in August.
