USAIDS says small grants bring big results

WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Agency for International Development on Friday said its CORE Initiative will provide $1.5 million this fiscal year for HIV/AIDS demonstration projects and small grants for secular and faith-based community groups throughout Africa. The idea is to allow local African communities to decide how to spend the U.S. government money based on their specific needs.
