The Excellence Awards, organised jointly by Khomanani and the SA Business Coalition on HIV/Aids, recognise people and organisations who have made exceptional contributions in promoting quality care and support, healthy living and healthy lifestyles.
There are three categories:
* Health workers, including doctors, nurses, health workers, health promoters, TB clinic care workers, and home-based care workers;
* Community care workers, which includes volunteers and employees who promote health programmes or provide care for people in need; and
* Large and small businesses, which offer support to employees and others affected by HIV/Aids, TB and STIs.
Nominations close on September 20 2005. Winners and runners-up will receive their prizes in November. You can fax your nomination to (011) 833-7454 or post it to Khomanani Excellence Awards, PO Box 0847, Saxonwold, 2132.
