PUPILS who are completing their exams can pat themselves on the back and get ready for the long holiday ahead by going to the "When Life Happens" festival, which runs in Newtown in central Johannesburg from November 25 to December 1.

The focus of the festival, showcasing the arts, film and music of several African countries, will be HIV/Aids. Subscribe to AllAfrica

With over 500 participants, the festival will cater for all tastes with a variety of arts, theatre and music.

One of the highlights will be a Positive Living concert with a line-up that includes Jennifer Ferguson, Gloria Bosman, Ayandaa and Ashaan on November 28 at Mary Fitzgerald Square.
