Pamela Wiser was jailed on two counts of criminal exposure of sex partners with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, and may face further counts, Lewisburg police said.
Authorities set up a hotline, trying to identify Wiser's partners so they can get tested for the deadly virus. It was not immediately known if any of the men had been infected.
Wiser, of nearby Chapel Hill, made clear her motives for the series of "one-night-stands" in a jailhouse interview with the Nashville Tennessean newspaper.
"That's what the guy done to me. I was just getting back," she said.
