In Honor of World AIDS Day, Prendergast and Colthurst Announce New Website Discussing Drugs Developed to Treat HIV

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Colthurst Limited and Patrick T. Prendergast, Ph.D., inventors and developers of several drugs to treat HIV, announced today that they have established the website http://www.colthurst.org. The website will allow a wider audience access to scientific publications relating to HIV treatments and will provide a forum for reviewing additional materials concerning Colthurst and Edenland drug candidates. Colthurst Limited, and Prendergast, who is also a principal of Edenland Inc., have developed a series of drugs to treat HIV and other diseases.

"World AIDS day is the perfect time to announce our new website," Prendergast said. "We are tremendously excited about the potential for our drugs to improve the quality of life and longevity of AIDS patients."

Prendergast and Colthurst recently notified Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals, Inc. that their license agreement for Bromine Epiandrosterone, one of their promising new drugs, is being terminated because of Hollis-Eden's breaches of the agreement. In an attempt to obscure the fact that it has failed to carry out its responsibilities under the license agreement, Hollis-Eden, according to Prendergast, recently made inflammatory statements in filings with the SEC and elsewhere.

Prendergast and Colthurst strongly deny these statements, and are prepared to resolve the dispute through arbitration, to ensure that their drugs are made commercially available to AIDS patients as quickly and safely as possible.
