Highlight of evening is live auction of Paddington Bear designed by Badgley Mischka
WHO: On display will be Paddington Bears designed by Donna Karan, Bill Blass, Vera Wang, Betsey Johnson, Cynthia Rowley, Kenneth Cole, Jeffrey Banks, Joseph Abboud, Tommy Hilfiger and David Chu for Nautica.
Many participating designers will be attending.

WHY: Paddington Bear, who has delighted children of all ages for 40 years, is about to turn in his trademark duffel coat, floppy rain hat and Wellington boots for some designer duds. A generous portion of the sales of the ten designer Paddington Bears sold through the FAO Schwarz Ultimate Catalogue as well as the auction of the Badgley Mischka Paddington Bear and merchandise sold during the private shopping spree will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the leading non-profit foundation dedicated to identifying, funding and conducting pediatric AIDS research.
