BellSouth Mobility, a Grand Sponsor of AIDS Walk Atlanta, invites you to participate in the event to raise money to help those suffering with AIDS and to assist in research toward finding a cure. The 6.2 mile walk begins at 2 p.m. and winds through midtown Atlanta. The walk ends in Piedmont Park, where there will be entertainment.
"We are proud to be a Grand Sponsor of AIDS Walk Atlanta and we fully support the work of AIDS organizations in their outreach efforts to people living with HIV and AIDS in our community," said Glen Estoll, Regional Vice President for BellSouth Mobility. "BellSouth Mobility wholeheartedly believes that by supporting AIDS Walk Atlanta, we can make a difference in the lives of the many people in Atlanta affected by this disease."
For two years now, BellSouth Mobility has been a Grand Sponsor of the walk. Last year, the BellSouth team of walkers alone generated $32,887. The team hopes to top that on Sunday.
This year, nearly 20,000 walkers are expected to participate. If you are unable to walk, you can support local AIDS organizations by sponsoring a walker. For more information on how to get involved, call AIDS Walk Atlanta at 404-876-WALK.
