Trinity Biotech is a leader in the development of rapid tests for the Point of Care and OTC markets. Trinity's recently developed Uni- Gold HIV test utilises its unique one-step technology to detect the presence of antibodies to HIV. This is an enabling technology which can be utilised to detect a wide range of infectious diseases and other diagnostic markers. Trinity is currently in negotiation with several potential strategic partners with the marketing and financial muscle to successfully handle these products in the Point of Care markets.
