Blockbuster Music Hosts the Rembrandts as Part of "Counteraid" Fundraising Efforts

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Blockbuster Music store at 6460 S. Dixie Hwy., South Miami, will host an in-store appearance of The Rembrandts on Saturday, Dec. 2, as part of CounterAid, the national week-long fundraising effort coordinated by LIFEbeat, a not- for-profit AIDS resource and awareness organization.

The Rembrandts will sign autographs and take pictures from 1 - 4 p.m. The band's current hit "I'll Be There For You", the theme song from the show Friends, continues to rank on popular music charts.

CounterAid was launched by LIFEbeat in 1992, as an annual fundraising event to mobilize members of the music industry in the fight against HIV. CounterAid is the only annual event that encompasses major record label involvement, corporate sponsorship, national media and on- site retail participation.
