Katalo said husbands who go to bed and just sleep, claiming to be so tired from the day's work and do not fulfil the most vital marriage obligation, incite their wives to commit adultery.
He was delivering a sermon at St. Peters Church, Nabwigulu in Nabwigulu sub-county, on Sunday.
"The fact that men deny their wives love leads to domestic confusion and adultery. Men should stop distancing themselves sexually," the reverand said, exciting the congregation.
He said the Bible urges husbands to pay their wives their dues and vice-versa, adding that women need maximum attention.
"Women should be handled delicately because they were created for that," he said amid clapping and ululations from women in the congregation.
Katalo also cautioned women against being shabby and preparing unpalatable food, which sends away men to look for better cooks.
Bugabula North MP Gerald Menyha urged parents to nurture God-fearing children for a better Uganda.
"A nation without religion has no hope," he argued.
