Mugisha appeals to women

New Vision (Kampala) - December 8, 2006
Pidson Kareire

Kaleke Kasome is Maurice Muhasha's most popular song this year. The song, which is about difilement, appeals to parents and children alike.

At the All Stars Struggle Against AIDS at Centenary Park recently, Maurice's performance left many women with teary eyes.

He performed to an audience that had gathered for the launch of A Little Bit of Love, an AIDS campaign song.

Kaleke Kasome comprises reggae and Afro beat.

The song is based on a real life experience. When he was a young boy, his playmate was defiled and she bled to death. It took Maurice a long time to recover from the distress.

Unfortunately, Kampala had more such cases.
