New Vision (Kampala) - November 6, 2006
Ali Mambule
Accompanied by wife Susan, Browning went as deep as Kiwaguzi in Kasensero parish, Lwanda sub-county, where he watched a local drama sponsored by Rakai Aids Information Network.
He learnt that through such drama shows, residents were sensitised on how to avoid family wrangles, HIV infection and ways to live positively with HIV/AIDS.
Kooki MP Maj. Erasmas Mugumya Magulumaali, who also watched the drama, which was organised at the village community centre, commended Browning for the projects.
"These are the beneficiaries of the aid which your government sends to Uganda," Magulumaali said. "It is, therefore, wise for you to come and witness that it reaches them."
Magulumaali requested other donors to assess the impact of their donations.
