New Vision (Kampala) - December 24, 2005
Robert Wabomba
Baligeya of Butemera had secretly fallen in love with Janet, the widow, and all was going well until Baligeya neglected her, citing unnamed reasons. He terminated the relationship.
Janet, who was pregnant at the time, brewed a grand plan of spilling the beans. On the fateful day, she went to BaligeyaÆs home, where she found his two wives. Janet then requested them to tell their husband to give her assistance, since he was responsible for her pregnancy. She threatened to sue him if he did not assist her.
The co-wives, recalling how the widowÆs husband had died without his intestines and how everybody had said he died of AIDS, wailed and fled the home, opting to nurse their grief at their parentsÆ home.
