Flavia Nakagwa
"The fight against HIV/AIDS is not only for women but also men, therefore both men and women need to come together to address this issue because there are many roles that men can play," Mogwanja said.
He was speaking during the Mamas' club charity walk on Friday that started at The AIDS Support Organisation, Mulago and ended at the constitutional square. Mamas' club is a psychosocial support group for HIV positive mothers. It was founded by Dr. Lydia Mungherera.
Mogwanja called upon more women to join the club, saying the charity walk was not only aiming at advocacy, but was also for fundraising purposes to assist in the fight against HIV/AIDS countrywide.
