My breasts are healed, ready

New Vision (Kampala) - October 23, 2004

KAMPALA - A woman identified as Babirye recently amazed a congregation in her church with her testimony on how God had healed her breasts miraculously, writes Nicephore Agwanyi.

"Omwami wange kati asobola okumpeweta amabere." (Now my husband can freely fondle my breasts), she explained.

She told the pastor before the congregation that when she was prayed for, the pain subsided and the cancer was no longer there. She was completely healed. Babirye's testimony caused chants of praises from born-again Christians who yelled 'Hallelujah' while others replied 'Amen.'

Babirye explained how she suffered from breast as soon as she delivered twins. "My breasts were so painful that not even my babies could breastfeed.

"I want to thank the church pastor for praying for my healing.

The Lord has healed my breasts. Now my babies can breast feed comfortably and my husband can also fondle," she said amidst shouts of 'Amen' from the excited members of the congregation.

While the preacher- Manjeri herself told the congregation that she liked her husband for one thing. "when I met him from America he insisted to come to Uganda for an introduction before my parents" Manjeri said they have three children. After telling her part, Manjeri then prayed for people with various needs.

Women and men with broken marriages and families without love and she shouted while calling them.

"Those of you who wish to get married to some woman or man yet they are not willing, please come and I pray for you." Both sexes ran afront.

The deaf, the blind, criple, jobless and those suffering from various diseases such as cancer, diabetes, liver, kidney and other sexual problems, all went pulpit. But a man shocked people when he stepped afront to make his request.

He challenged pastor Manjeri to pray for his wife and children.

He told her before the packed congregation that his wife plus children have all tested HIV positive and yet he was HIV negative despite the fact that he has been playing live sex (BBC)with his wife for several years. He says he stll continues to bonk her, so he is waiting for the results.

The amused and later symphatetic born agains together with Manjeri bombered the family with prayers.

But others said oyo musaja omutayiri meaning that that man is circucised that's why he is anti virus.

The service ended with intertaining music from a large music band of male and female singing and dancing christians.
