'Employ HIV Positive People'

New Vision (Kampala) - November 14, 2003
Patrick Sserugo

MPIGI district chairman Badru Kabega has warned employers against sacking employees living with HIV/AIDS.

Kabega said the infected had an important role to play towards the development of the country.

He was recently addressing residents of Gomba county at Kinoni in Mpigi. Kabega said infected individuals needed an income-generating base to sustain their lives.

He said the district would take stern measures against such employers.
