Teachers Urged to Lead Fight Aganist HIV/Aids

TEACHERS in primary and post-primary schools have been urged to take a leading role in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Kasese Resident District Commissioner Musa Ecweru said this at Bwera Teachers College in Bukonzo county on the occasion to mark the World AIDS day.

He said teachers were a source of knowledge and and therefore key in the mobilisation of children and youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Ecweru urged student- teachers to preserve the ethics of the profession.
