The district health inspector of schools, Martin Amodoi, said the condoms will help reduce the increasing rate of HIV infections among the youth.
The condoms were donated by the Ministry of Health to the district health offices of Soroti and Kaberamaido.
Amodoi said a total of 24,000 out of 264,000 condoms were given to Kaberamaido by the ministry.
