Miami Herald - November 28, 2004
Blue was Jarmen's last work, and was made while he was dying of AIDS and had been stricken with blindness. With an unchanging blue backdrop on screen, a series of voices provide a soundtrack documenting Jarmen's experiences with AIDS and exploring the meanings associated with the color blue.
The screening will be supplemented with a dance performance by New World School of the Arts professor Octavio Campos.
Tickets are $10 for Miami Beach Cinematheque members and $12 for nonmembers.
