Students collect 300 toys for AIDS

Miami Herald - Sunday, December 16, 2001

Students at Michael M. Krop Senior High School will culminate their second annual Toy Drive at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the high school by donating 300 unwrapped gifts to the United Foundation for AIDS/KIDZCAR.

The toys will be distributed Saturday to HIV-positive children and others infected with HIV.

"The students at Dr. Michael M. Krop are part of this community and have a heart when it comes to social action," said Larry Cooper, student government president of Krop. "We try to unite our students to do good and help others."
