Gregg M. Steinberg was named a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Council on Small Business. Steinberg is president of International Profits Associates, a Buffalo Grove-based consulting firm.

Leaders Bank appointed Phil Kain senior vice president of commercial banking. Previously, he was a senior relationship manager of middle market corporate banking at LaSalle Bank.

Steven A. D'Anna joined Atwell-Hicks, a land development consulting firm, as director of regional operations in Naperville. Previously, he was a senior project manager in Buffalo for Acquest Development and URS Corp.

Stuart Kantoff was promoted to executive vice president, chief operating officer and partner of Dubin Residential, a residential builder.

Boelter & Yates Inc. engineering firm named Thomas P. Kowalski president and CEO. Previously, he was principal of his own firm, TK Partners. Boelter also named David C. Regelbrugge director of environmental health and safety services, and Chetan Trivedi director of environmental services.

Casey Klarich was promoted to director of development for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Klarich had been director of corporate and foundation relations.

Northbrook-based Lane Hospitality appointed David Merritt senior vice president of development. The company owns and manages hotels, resorts and time-share properties.

Dale B. Tauke joined Fox, Hefter, Swibel, Levin & Carroll boutique law firm as a partner. He was previously with Winston & Strawn.

Palatine-based Concord Homes promoted Mike Bednarek to vice president of residential construction from production manager, and named Bill French director of land acquisition and government approvals. Previously, French was manager of land acquisition entitlement with Town & Country Homes.

Scott Marvel was appointed president of Daily Planet Ltd., an editorial and motion graphics company. Most recently, he was editor and vice president.

Century 21 Sussex & Reilly named Diana C. Turowski vice president of training and career development.

Wisdom Adhesives, a Franklin Park-based adhesives manufacturer, appointed Linda M. Wisdom vice president of operations from general manager.
