SASSARI, Italy & PRINCETON, N.J.--ViroStatics, srl today announced Chief Development Officer Dr. Michael Stevens will present a Company overview during Rodman & Renshaw's Tenth Annual Global Healthcare Conference taking place November 10 through 12, 2008 at the New York Palace Hotel. Rodman & Renshaw is a leading investment banking firm with particular emphasis on "essential" industries, including health care. The conference, which also features a keynote address by former U.S. President, Bill Clinton, hosts more than 550 companies from across the globe presenting to over 1000 registered institutional investors.

ViroStatics' presentation takes place on Wednesday, November 12th at 4:05 PM (EST) in the Louis Room during which Dr. Stevens will review and update the Company's recent developments in drug discovery and development as well as the development of proprietary biomarker assays. In the presentation, Dr. Stevens will review how virostatic drugs represent a new family of antivirals designed not only to suppress viruses but also to preserve the immune system from chronic damage. In particular, he will present the Company's lead developmental product, VS411 - a fixed combination of virostatic drugs undergoing Phase II clinical development for the treatment of HIV believed to be the first in this new class of drugs.
