To help raise awareness and build community involvement for those impacted by HIV/AIDS, On Call has raised more than $3,000, and will also participate as a team in the 5k walk. AIDS Walk San Diego, an event of The San Diego LGBT Community Center, is the largest one-day HIV/AIDS fundraiser and the most substantial non-governmental supporter for HIV/AIDS within the city of San Diego. All funds raised by AIDS Walk San Diego directly provide shelter, healthcare, transportation, counseling, and food services to the estimated 22,500 men, women, and children in San Diego County.
