Medical Services International Inc. Agrees to Major Test of its VScan Rapid HIV Test Kit in Africa

EDMONTON, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 2002--Medical Services International Inc. (Pink Sheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has agreed with the regulatory authorities of a West African Nation to a study involving 200 VScan(TM) Rapid HIV Test Kits. The study is to start in 60 days with results in 90 days. Based on the anticipated results of the study, the Company will receive registration of its product in that country and the results can be used for registration in other surrounding countries in Africa.

Robert Talbot states, "We are extremely confident that the results will be as good as they were in Nigeria (see Press Release of November 19, 2002). This will open additional markets to Medical Services International Inc. in Africa."
