ViaLogy Corp. Issued Third U.S. Patent Covering Technique for Determining Viral Load Using Microarrays

PASADENA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 15, 2001--ViaLogy Corp. today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued U.S. Patent No. 6,245,511, titled "Method and Apparatus for Exponentially Convergent Therapy Effectiveness Monitoring Using DNA Microarray-Based Viral Load Measurements," which has been assigned to ViaLogy.

The technique disclosed by this patent is the first to cover the utilization of microarrays and advanced computational techniques to determine viral load within biological samples.
