In Response to AIDS Tragedy, STGI Seeks Partner for Anticort project in South Africa

Business Wire - January 18, 2000

LAS VEGAS--(BW HealthWire)--Jan. 18, 2000.--(OTCBB:STGI) This project comes out in the wake of the terrible AIDS tragedy taking place in South Africa (see the recent article in Newsweek titled "Ten million orphans-------").

STGI is firmly convinced that we can bring our own contribution, with our ANTICORT(TM)drug, in trying to help this catastrophe of unheard of proportions.

Our belief is based, among others, on the potential capability of ANTICORT to easily cross the immune cell membrane, thus attacking the HIV/AIDS virus within the cell. There is no present medication that has been able to attack the AIDS virus inside the cell. Indeed reports published in the medical press show that it is within these cells that the AIDS virus can comfortably hide, undisturbed by all medication in use at the present time , and can come out later, at any time, to re-infect the body. Research reports suggest that the virus can still be alive even after 60 (sixty) years of present medication; and reports also suggest that even vaccines, if and when developed, might not be able to do anything about this problem.

In this respect, we believe that this is a fitting time to remind our readers about our News Release of Nov. 17, 1999 titled "The ultimate battle against HIV/AIDS will be fought inside the immune cells."

In a potential collaborative project, STGI would supply a tentative budget, the Protocol (identical to the one submitted to the FDA), sufficient supplies of ANTICORT(TM) and know-how. The South Africa partner would offer qualified personnel, facilities and financing.

STGI is pursuing the world wide development and distribution of its drug, ANTICORT , which is currently in the clinical trial process as an anticortisol, steroidogenesis inhibitor drug for the treatment of immune deficency in AIDS/HIV+ and other diseases such as Aging, Cancer and Depression.
