(BW) (COMMUNITY-PRESCRIPTION) ADVISORY/Treatment Workshop for HIV Positive Women

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1998--Community Prescription Service in combination with AID Atlanta, AIDS Survival Project, Sister Love, Aid Gwinette and Project Azuka is proud to sponsor Positive Choices: A Treatment Workshop by and for Women living with HIV.

The meeting will take place on Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, 265 Peachtree Street.

This is a free and confidential program for women living with HIV that is designed to provide understandable information about current treatments. This program is an information exchange. Women are encouraged to bring questions for the presenters. The topics covered have been suggested by women living with HIV and their care providers. The topics include current medical information, gynecological and psychological issues.

Presenters include:

-- Kimball Johnson, MD, of the Rossi Medical Group

-- Dawn Averitt, Treatment Advocate and HIV Positive Woman

-- Toni Vincent, LCSW of Grady Hospital

-- Bari Blake of Summit Ridge Hospital

The meeting is being moderated by Lillian Thiemann, Editor of Infopack, and HIV Positive Woman.

A continental breakfast, and full lunch will be provided. Vegetarian meals will also be available. Childcare and parking will be provided.
