VPI is a development- stage biopharmaceutical company committed to the development and commercialization of therapeutics utilizing proprietary next generation delivery systems.

This agreement with Glaxo Wellcome, the world's largest pharmaceutical company, initiates APP's strategy to enter into collaborative agreements with major ethical pharmaceutical companies to market and distribute major proprietary drugs prior to or upon patent expiration.

The significant technical drug and gene-delivery proprietary platform of VPI provides an opportunity for line extensions of such products and the development of next generation proprietary therapeutics.

APP believes that the unique relationships it enjoys with large group purchasing organizations positions the company to gain significant market share of selected generic products.

Glaxo Wellcome Inc., a subsidiary of Glaxo Wellcome plc., is the nation's leading research-based pharmaceutical firm and has headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
