BUSINESS WIRE - 44 Montgomery St, 39th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104; Tel: (415) 986-4422; FAX: (415) 788-5335 - 5 September 1997.

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 5, 1997--Maxxon Inc. (OTC BB: MXON) William Robinson, vice president, announced today the delivery of the engineered prototype of the Maxxon Safety Syringe(TM).

Texas Applied Biotechnology Services president, Ms. Joyce Heinrich, informed Robinson that the prototype syringe would be available for preliminary evaluation of the patented working mechanics of the syringe next week. "This is exciting news, to see a dream become a reality. This moves Maxxon to the next level of its rapid growth," said Robinson.

In informal interviews with medical officials around the country it was confirmed that syringes of the type being designed by Maxxon Inc., can play a significant role in the reduction of transmission of HIV and the AIDS virus, in addition to all other diseases that are transmittable through hypodermic needles. Additionally, they commented that Maxxon's one-handed technique should help reduce needlestick accidents in the medical and healthcare industry as a whole.

Maxxon Inc. is an innovative medical technologies company offering cutting edge solutions. The Maxxon Safety Syringe(TM), which meets all OSHA standards, is expected to save hundreds of lives annually. According to estimates of project engineers, the Maxxon Safety Syringe(TM) can be produced for costs that are competitive with safety and non-safety syringes currently in use.

The company plans to market the Maxxon Safety Syringe(TM) internationally, which accounts for 80% of the total market for syringes, while awaiting FDA approval for distribution in the U.S. The work marketplace is estimated to be 15 billion units annually.
