The subject of Dr. Mill's research is HIV in the lymphatic system, specifically, what happens in the lymph nodes when the amount of virus in a patient's blood drops below current levels of detection. The data clearly shows that people with undetectable levels of HIV in their blood have correlating reduction in their lymphatic tissue. This data suggests for the first time that HIV can possibly be eliminated in its hiding place - the lymphatic system. According to the new research, a three drug "cocktail" of antiviral medications (AZT, 3TC, ddI, ddC, D4T) and the new protease inhibitors (Norvir, Crixivan, Invirase) can reduce the level of HIV below current levels of detection, using sensitive Branch DNA or viral load testing.
