"We don't want the youth network here to die down. We can't stop at this conference. We have to continue to Toronto for the next one," said Sujima Viravaidya, coordinator of the youth forum.
A pressure group, the World Youth Coalition on Aids, would be created to lobby national bodies for political commitments, and help at regional and international conferences.
"We need to make sure the coalition is for youth and by youth, and that the network includes all youth, not only those from existing organisations, but also those in the street," she said.
A delegate from Africa called on the group to get involved in every conference and sit with United Nations secretary-general Kofi Annan and other leaders to speak at the next conference.
A delegate from Asia said she hoped members from her group would make it to the conference too, and urged members to pass on their experiences from the Bangkok meeting.
A youth delegate from Toronto expected more young people to join the next conference in Canada.
"We had 200 youths in Barcelona, 450 in Bangkok and I hope we'll make it to 1,000 in Toronto," he said.
"We hope to bring youth to the forefront of the next conference, and we'll make sure that in Toronto, everyone will be included."
Ms Sujima said youth delegates should pass on the knowledge and information they received from the conference to the networks they worked with in their countries.
She said every programme committee at the next conference should have at least one youth member, and policy-makers at national and international levels should heed what they say.
