AAC's 18th ARTcetera auction, which will be held Oct. 16 at the Boston Center for the Arts/Cyclorama, will feature nearly 300 pieces of contemporary art, all donated by the artists. The event is expected to bring in $500,000 for HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay State.
At the patron party, art lovers who donated money to make this year's ARTcetera possible mingled with many of the artists whose work will go up for auction later this month. Patrons also had the chance to preview some of the pieces from this year's ARTcetera collection.
AAC Executive Director Rebecca Haag and Bernard Toale, chair of this year's ARTcetera and an AAC board member, addressed the crowd and briefed attendees on AAC's work, as well as ARTcetera's patron program.
