AIDS Walk raises over $1 million

Participants in Boston's 17th annual AIDS Walk warm up for the 10K walk at the MDC Hatch Shell June 2. About 10,000 walkers raised more than $1 million for the AIDS Action Committee and other AIDS organizations. The second annual 5K run drew 600 participants. AIDS Action Executive Director Mike Duffy expects pledge money to continue rolling in and that the agency will meet its $1.5 million goal. Scenes from AIDS Walk 2002
