Delaney memorial announced

A memorial and celebration of the life of Project Inform founder Martin Delaney will be held Saturday, March 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the Eureka Valley Recreation Center, 100 Collingwood Street (at 18th Street) in San Francisco. A reception will follow.

Mr. Delaney died January 23 of liver cancer. He was 63.

Project Inform, based in San Francisco, provides information on HIV/AIDS treatment options and fields hundreds of calls through its helpline. Mr. Delaney worked with scientists, drug makers, and policy makers, often challenging them to solicit input from people living with HIV/AIDS.
