Cuomo Rejects AIDS Fund Rise

The New York Times - February 7, 1984


Governor Cuomo has turned down a request by the State Health Commissioner to spend $5.2 million more on AIDS research, it was disclosed today.

Mr. Cuomo announced the award of $3.8 million for two-year research grants for the study of AIDS, or acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
