Paris, 30. März (AFP) - Frankreich führt im Kampf gegen Aids für Schüler und Studenten ein Präservativ zum Preis von 20 Cent ein. Das Verhütungsmittel solle ab dem Herbst in allen Gymnasien, Oberschulen und Universitäten angeboten werden, kündigte Gesundheitsminister Xavier Bertrand am Donnerstag in Paris an. Darauf habe sich die Regierung mit Herstellern der Präservative verständigt. Staatspräsident Jacques Chirac hatte die Einführung des Billigkondoms im November zum Welt-Aids-Tag gefordert. Die Anti-Aids-Kampagne Act-Up hatte kritisiert, dass es in jeder zweiten französischen Oberschule noch keinen Präservativ-Automaten gebe, obgleich einer von zehn HIV-Neuinfizierten unter 25 Jahre alt sei.
