Brüssel, 30. November (AFP) - Junge Europäer sind nach Überzeugung von EU-Gesundheitskommissar Markos Kyprianou zu jung, um sich an die "Safer-Sex-"Kampagnen der 80er Jahren zu erinnern - und daher einer besonderen Aids-Gefahr ausgesetzt. Angesichts der auch in Europa steigenden Zahl der HIV-Infektionen sei eine rasche Aufklärung nötig, um eine Katastrophe zu vermeiden, erklärte EU-Gesundheitskommissar am Dienstag in Brüssel. Er verwies dabei auf den EU-Nachbarn Russland, wo von rund einer Million HIV-Infizierten 80 Prozent unter 30 Jahre alt sind. Auch in den Baltenstaaten, die im Mai der EU beitraten, sei die Situation alarmierend.
