INDIANA: HIV Program Thursday to Feature Model-Actor Boris Kodjoe

Indiana's sixth annual HIV Statewide Awareness Program is being held Thursday in Indianapolis' Madame Walker Theatre. The free event which seeks to encourage members of minority communities to learn more about AIDS and get tested for HIV; its sponsors include the State Department of Health, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, and the Indiana Minority Health Coalition. Participants will include Boris Kodjoe, star of Showtime's "Soul Food"; 2008 Indiana poet laureate nominee Tasha Jones; and WHHH-FM radio personality JJ, who will serve as mistress of ceremonies.
