UNITED STATES: 'Runway' Star Brings Education Idea to San Francisco

In San Francisco Saturday at the United States Conference on AIDS, Jack Mackenroth of the TV series "Project Runway" was presenting information on "Living Positive by Design," his HIV/AIDS education initiative. "Through Living Positive by Design, I hope to highlight the importance for people living with HIV to have a positive outlook on life while effectively managing their disease and to combat the stigma associated with HIV," Mackenroth said in a statement. Mackenroth, who has been living with HIV for more than 20 years, was to be accompanied by local HIV specialist Dr. Lisa Capaldini. The outreach is supported by Merck & Co.
