CALIFORNIA: Exposure to TB Suspected at Salon

Patrons and employees at Tommy's Estetica Unisex salon in San Diego may have been exposed to TB following the diagnosis of active TB in a worker there, cautioned the county Health and Human Services Agency on Thursday. That patient has been treated and is no longer infectious, county officials said. The agency is assisting the salon, located at 3523 El Cajon Blvd., in notifying those who spent two to eight hours at the salon between Feb. 17 and Oct. 24 that they may have been exposed to TB.
