Abstract: Mark Woodley, the Santa Claus impersonator whom Macy's refused to rehire because he has AIDS, has returned to the role. Woodley has not been reinstated, but instead has been attending a variety of functions voluntarily, most of which are for children with AIDS. Currently, he is involved in a lawsuit against Macy's that probably won't be resolved for a while. The department store argues that Woodley's lack of good health and his treatment with Prozac, an anti-depressant drug, should preclude his working with small children. Instead, Macy's has offered him a job supervising other Santas at more pay, and the company insists that it does not descriminate against people with AIDS.
